Summary:
Well, I must say, I don't think I should've picked up this game. Some characters are evidently worse then others, and Amy is completely useless. It was a repetitive gameplay, you get from point A to point B, and that's pretty easy. It IS amusing for the first few levels, but then, it gets frustrating, and boring. I did not like this at all.

Summary:
Sonic is back, and he is probably at one of his best games yet! You go fast, and can choose between characters (Which I must say, the new character designs are great)! Sonic the Hedgehog 2 was the first Sonic game I had, and I was obsessed, but then came Pokemon -_-;;; . After I lost interest in Pokemon (^0^) Something somehow restored my faith in the Sonic games, and HUZZAH! I bought this game and was blown away!

I love this game, because of the top notch speed and graphics, and the special Chao raising ability is fun!

So to sum it up, it all comes down to one word. Awesome. This is probably the only word to describe it. Awesome.

Summary:
I've been a Sonic fan for a pretty long time. I only really like the true 2-d sonic games, i think that these really bring out the best in our little blue hero. So, once I heard that Sega and Sonic Team were turning on the old time machine to go back to the 2-D glory days of Sonic the Hedgehog, I waited with open arms to accept my favorite game mascot.

Sonic Advance, combines Sonic 1, 2, 3, and Adventure into one neat package. It also has some other great extras, like raising a baby chao creature. The game consists of 4 playable characters, Knuckles, Tails, Amy, and of course Sonic the Hedgehog.

I am not going to give away any of the levels, or spoil the experience of Sonic Advance for anyone who has yet to play it. But i will say this, Sonic Advance probably, more or less, has the absolute best graphics that the GBA has to offer. The gameplay is smooth, and, due to the GBA's controlling, gives you an easier way to play Sonic, excluding the clunky Sega controllers. The sound is alright, really nothing special. It is not the best that I have heard for the GBA yet.

I must say that the mechanics for this game are done well, and the game that Sonic Advance is most like, is probably Sonic 3 for the Genesis.

All in all, I believe that Sega and Sonic Team, have done a really amazing job, and have made the debut of Sonic on the gameboy, a very impactful one.

The only flaws with this game is that, getting the chaos emeralds, is a lot harder than in any other Sonic game I have played. I have yet to retrieve one out of 7 chaos emeralds. Another flaw is, that the adventure mode in this game is much too short, you could beat the adventure mode in this game, with all four characters, in at least 3 hours all together. Excluding finding all of the chaos emeralds.

I hope that I have not ruined your experience with Sonic Advance, by giving away too much information, but, to close my summary, if you do not already have this game, go and buy it, if you do have it, play it!

Sincerly, Jeffy Mills

Summary:
A heap of the old, and put in the giant blender of gaming, and mixed in with the new creates this super sweet smoothie, otherwise known as Sonic Advance. If you have played any old 2-D Sonic game, you'll know what to expect right? Wrong, So Wrong! There is a whole lot of new stuff, and let's face it, Sonic games always come out better than great most of the time. You get to choose between 4 characters (Sonic, "Tails", Knuckles, and Amy) and each has special abilites. Sonic can run the fastest, "Tails" can spin his tails like helecopter blades to make him fly, Knuckles can glide, and climb walls, and Amy... Well, she has a... big... hammer, but I'll talk mor about that issue in Gameplay. NEwayz, you go out on an adventure, quest, mission, or just whatever you want to call it to foil the evil Dr. Eggmans plot yet again. But don't let that make it sond childish, this game is good for literally all ages, (I'm 13, OK?) and it should make you have fun. The first day I got this game, I couldn't put it down at all!

There is a whole bunch of extra stuffs too. Like the "Tiny Chao Garden". I don't quite know the use of that yet, but, it's still fun. Also Time Attack can let you try can get through zones to beat your best times. There is a Sound Test too, and this game is one of the chosen few games that actually deserve a sound test, but I'll talk more about that in Sound. Only one little itty bitty gripe that will not hurt the score, but there are just a pinch too few zones. Anyways, this is an excellent game for all ages (I'm 13) and it should bring you lots of entertainment!
