from Best Buy Summary: With a combination of pinball and Pac-Man, this game is bound to be a match made in heaven, right?
Wrong.
Frankly, this is the lamest pinball game on the GBA, and I have a half dozen others. Straight up, the main problem with this game is...you cannot remap the controls. You are stuck with the default, which is Left D-pad for the left flipper, and A button for the right flipper. The shoulder buttons are for 'tilting' the table.
This is pathetic. Any moron knows that the GBA's shoulder buttons are tailor made for controlling the flippers in a pinball game. Anyone except Namco, evidently.
You start the game with two tables, and more can be unlocked. Table design is simple, and the physics are so-so. This game looks like what it is, a blatant attempt to milk the well known Pac-Man franchise for some easy bucks.
There are some mini games, but the couple I've come across are very simplistic and boring.
Do not waste your money on this title. There are many other pinball games for the GBA, and all are better than this one. Report this review >>
