Play as the heroes from the movies, Aragorn the Ranger, Legolas the Elf, Eowyn the Maiden, Gandalf the Wizard, and Frodo the Ringbearer. Fight the evil forces of Sauron as you fend off hordes of orcs on the walls of Helm’s Deep, battle an army of Uruk-Hai on the plains of Rohan, and take on the spider-like orcs of the Mines of Moria. You will even face menacing boss monsters, including the horrendous Cave Troll in Balin’s Tomb. Summary: I got the ps2 Two Towers and thought it was one of the best games ive ever played. So i thought why not give the gba version a try. And since one of my friends had it i borrowed it from them for about 1 hour and decided it was okay and worth anything under 40$. Later on when i bought it for gba sp it was even better! You can be legolas, aragorn, ewoyn, gandalf, or frodo (i still havent tried frodo yet). You can build your person's strength, accuracy, health, defense, and courage. You have an experience meter that tells you how close you are to the next level and when you reach it you get 5 point to put towards your person's attributes (look baoive to see them) and a point to put to their specials. There are two kinds of specials active and passive. The active ones are the ones you can use when you want such as charging up legolas's bow or using gandalf's magic attacks. Passive is just that you use it constantly and dont require spirit points where as active do(spirit points regenerate over time, thankfully). My personal favorite to use is legolas since his bow has range and is equally strong as a sword attack in this game. The best part is that each different character has their own path and adventure. For example if you're ewoyn you start out at the rohan city place and go your path from there or if you are aragorn you start out at calagredad or whatever that mountain is called that sarumon tried to bring down. One of the only bad parts is YOU CANT USE GIMLI! Thatsucks!gimli is one of my favorite people in the entire movie! But besides that the game is erally fun and sometimes hard(like when fighting the cate troll). If you have expendable money and want a good gba game and you're a lotr fan get this one.

Summary: It's a good game for a little bit but after you beat it it gets boring.. I got it becouse I am a big fan of lord of the rings and I had seen the movie and I read the books but this wasnt that good.
Summary: Very fun game to play. I have defeated the game with the Elf, but still am playing with him and looking for all of the lost iteams. I am going to play with the other characters. Awesome design and you are on your own for the most part. Medallions are very helpful and unique to GBA. Must use them to your style of play. I love the design and still have many, many hours of playing left. I strongly recommend this game to anyone who has the GBA and likes role playing games.
Summary: Im sure there will be many people who will disagree with me with this game, but i didnt feel that it was all that great. First time through with each character is alot of fun, but after that, i just got bored of it. If you want something mindless and repetative, go ahead and get this game. But there are alot better games out there for the GBA.
