Price Paid:  $1000.00 from Circuit City

Summary:
Golden Sun for the GBA is one of the BEST RPGs ever to grace the mini screens of the GBA... boasting detailed graphics, a breath-taking storyline and outstanding sound... it's like playing the whole universe on such a small screen.

Review NaN of 94

Price Paid:  $20.00 from Amazon.com

Summary:
I finally got around to buying the first game instead of playing the second one, and I like it a lot!
Golden Sun is quite a game, it's long, but still doesn't compare to Golden Sun: The Lost Age's length (The Lost Age is about twice as long). If you're a hardcore RPG fan, or just looking for a fun time, THIS IS THE GAME FOR YOU! You start as a boy named Isaac in a village called Vale. The inhabitants of Vale have unique powers that they call psyenergy. Psyenergy allows a person to, for example, move things with their mind. But that's just the beginning! More advancede types of Psyenergy allow one to evaporate water, or shatter stones, or in an extreme case, teleport across continents.
We join Isaac during a terrible storm when the villagers are fleeing, and some are also holding tumbling boulders from the mountain back (With Psyenergy) so they don't destroy the village. Eventually, the storm ends, and although a few lost their lives, life goes on (No pun intended).
That's about all I'm going to reveal to you, if you want to know the rest, well, buy the game!

Review NaN of 94

Price Paid:  $30.00 from GameStop

Summary:
I've bought almost 20 Game Boy Advance games, and Golden Sun is the best of them. It's even better than its sequal, the Lost Age. You start out as a boy, Issac and his friend Garet. Their objective is to stop Saturos and Menardi, the villians in the game, from lighting the four ligthouses (Mercury, Venus, Jupiter, Mars). If they are lit, then Psynergy, which I'll talk more about later in the review, will be released to all of the world. During their quest, a boy Ivan and a girl named Mia join their party. With lots of towns to travel to, a huge overworld, lots of caves to explore, and lengthy gameplay, Golden Sun is definetely one of the best GBA games out there. It's the game that you can't put down, and never get bored of. It's a great RPG that any fan will love.

, from Mt. Aleph

Price Paid:  $20.00 from Target

Summary:
This is, by far, the best handheld RPG to date. I don't know how people can say it was bad. It was awesome. I loved the djinni system in battle, especially how you could switch the elemental djinn around the characters and give them cool classes like white mage and ninja, then their psynergy (magic) would change (ninja's annihilation was awesome!!!). Overall, it may not be the most creative game, but it certainly deserves attention and respect. Compare it to it's other DBA competitors and you'll see what I mean.
