Summary:
I was born and brought up around the Sega Genesis
generation. My gaming pleasures revolved around 16-bit games that involved gameplay value over graphics. In this influence, I never dismissed a game by its cover, but it's heart. Though, I had never played Phantasy Star in my early years, I now have regrets for not doing so. In the age where glimmer overpowers soul. There is a game which takes me back to classic RPGing goodness. This game is Phantasy Star.

Summary:
I played thse games a long time ago on a emulator. I didn`t really like the graphics but it was old. Now I just can`t get enough.

One thing you should know is that this game is a direct port of the originals. There is not one new thing and they didn`t erase anything!

Its compose of phantasy start 1, 2 and 3 I think they could of put the 4 one in but its still great.

Right now I played most of the time PS2 well because I think its the best one.

I warn you these games are very thought and long for most. It is not this generations difficulty. So if you`re used only to games like final fantasy 7, 8, 9, 10 you will find this too though!

Summary:
In 1988 Pantasy Star for the Master System was the first rpg i ever played and got me completely addicted to this genre.
Phantasy Star 2 got released one year later, this time for the genesis, and another two years later the 3rd Phantasy Star, entitled 'generations of doom' came out for the same console. There is also a brilliant 4th chapter in the PS series that was released for the genesis, but only the the first three are to be found on this collection for the gba.
After purchasing this little gem (i've been waiting for it's release ever since i first saw it mentioned on some newspage) i rushed home to pop it in, start up my gba and be welcomed in form of a pretty title screen and some classic PS music.
Starting with the first title you are set back to the space century 342 and take over the role of Alis, who revenges her fallen brother Nero.0 He died fighting the once benevolent, now tyranning ruler over their homeplanet Palma, named Lassic. In the curse of her adventures Alis will stumble upon 3 friends to aid her on the quest that spans across 3 planets with dozens of towns and dungeons....
PS2 takes part a whopping 1000 years later and offers the same round-based fighting embedded in a nice story around Mother Brain, the dominating computer on Mota...
The 3rd installment in the PS series is different as it offers a story evolving around generations of characters instead of one single hero and comes with multiple endings...
All those games had high ratings when they were released... for a reason!
