(F) I HATED this game! Mario appears as just a tiny blob on the screen, and I think that this was not a good start to GameBoy. This game looks like they spent an hour on it.

Pros: A great oldies game for your Game Boy!
Cons: DAMN it is so hard to find...

Released in 1989, one of the first Game Boy titles to be released when the origional Game Boy game came out, This game is a instant classic.

However, as you can see, I can't find it on the shelves. It kept on saying, "Sold out" as I kept on hunting and hunting for this origional classic game. I went in to the used section in Babbages and then asked the front desk man. He said, "Sorry, we are sold out." I tried everywhere for about a few months. I later gave up. All of a sudden, I saw the game on the used section. I was hoping that it would be the origional Mario game.

It was! It somehow showed up! I played this game before on one of my friend's Game Boy years ago and enjoyed it. That is what led me of wanting that trusty old programmable handheld system. Did you know that before when you get a Game Boy, you get Super Mario Land packaged with the system?

But guess what? Why it is so hard to find nowadays? At least it some how showed up on the used game shelves. By the way, I was looking for Mario Golf for the Game Boy when I saw this game on the shelves. Maybe it was a treat for trying to find the Golf game for the Game Boy, but who knows... Anyways, it is still a popular game today! And no matter how much it gets old, it does not age!

This is a great classic game to treasure. But Man! This game is so hard to find, because despite it's old game, I think that some where in the future, this game is going to be worth a lot of money, considering how much people love this game. Perhaps that is why it made the Game Boy so succesfull over the years ever since the unit came out.

This is a great game. The graphics are small, but hey! It is one of the first games to come out on Game Boy. You know, when you listen to a 50's oldies music on the radio, you know how muddy the songs are, but they are still great songs on the radios with the great Animals and the Beetles! Same goes with the oldies Video Games! There is the great Pong game that people still enjoy, then there is the great Super Mario Bros. game that people still enjoy today! Now, there is Super Mario Land! It may be an old game, but it is still a great game to play today! and years down the line, it could still be a great game today!

Summary:
This game was released in 1989 and was one of the first-ever Game Boy games. I got it in February 1993 and I remember that I simply loved it! The way to play is pretty simple, it's like the old Super Mario bros. This game is a classic! And you can find it now at an excellent price. What the hell are you wating for?
