Summary: The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening DX™ is the best Gameboy RPG game anybody could ask for. It is a VERY long game, but is very challenging and worthwhile. The puzzles are very clever, and really fire up your brain for a change. The story is wonderfully thought up, and actually, yes ACTUALLY triggers emotions in the player. (Unlike ohhh... EVERY other Gameboy game?) You have left Hyrule, after defeating the badguy yada yada yada, when your ship is caught in a storm. You fight the waves valiantly, but your ship is struck by lightening and reduced to splinters.
You wash up on the beach, and are found by Marin (One of the main characters, who has an uncanny resemblance to princess Zelda) who brings you in. You wake up in a bed, softly comforted by a voice that you think is Zelda. Or is it? Marin informs you that she found you washed up, and that you are on Koholint Island. Then you find your sword on the beach, when an owl (A sort of guide through the game) approches you, and tells you that in order to leave this island, you must wake the Windfish. (The creature in the egg at the top of the mountain). Then your adventure begins!
Summary: This was the game that, 7 years ago, sparked my interest in zelda. I like the original pokemon games, but, in my opinion, the zelda series will always be better because every sequel is a new and different adventure. With pokemon, sequels are just the same game, rehashed.
What we have in Link's Awakening is a good original game, that is perhaps the best game ever made for game boy. Any game boy. I won't say it isn't a hard game, because it is, but it isn't so hard that you throw your game boy against the wall (more than once). The first two dungeons are relatively easy, and the build up to a very challenging final dungeon. LA is also good because it gives you so much to do. Collecting heart peices, shells, and the swap chain are a fun distraction from the main quest. The bosses were all fun to fight, none of them, again, that would make you throw your gameboy up against the wall. One of my favorite things about this game was the final boss. You can fight him as many times as you want, and watch a cool ending a few times. All in all, this is one of my favorite games ever.

Summary: Another game in Nintendo's exelent series of Zelda is, in my oppinion, the best so far. I've played it countless times, and it never gets boring! If you are into Adventure games, I highly recommend this game. This time, Link is in a boat crash, and ends up on an island. He has to go through eight levels andpick up musical instruments. The goal is to get all eight instruments and wake up the Windfish.
Summary: Everyone told me that Zelda series was great, but that was not true...It's AWESOME, and simply one of my favourites. No matter the age, the bits and so on. It's a Nintendo game and that's like a seal of quality! Definitely wonderful! You have to buy this game and if you don't own a GameBoy, you shoulda buy it too 'cos this game worth the cost!
