Summary: greaty game you just go aroung kicking the living daylight out of other trainers pokemon. stradgy, mind blowing great game. you have to think more in this game than other games a lot longer as well. sometimes i think it went a bit far by having 16 badges, i mean what is the point. people thought pokemon should have stop while they were ahead, but this game proves them wrong they were right to carry on.
Summary: Good game, good if you want something to do to fill in your time. And if you finish it fast, start a new game! I liked it because it gives you adventure and excitement in a dull life. I would like to give my age but Ill be embarrassed so Ill tell you im over 13. I dont watch the show or collect the merchandise or anything like that, but i have a great team. I have 249 of them but that stupid Raiku is the only one holding me back from CATCHING THEM ALL!(excluding gameshark pokemon)(i can never track him down)
Summary: The Pokemon fad, which has brought Nintendo millions of dollars, has not even peaked yet!!! Even with the release of both Gold and Silver, Pokemon shows signs of being more than just a fad.
Gold, takes place three years after the first Pokemon adventure. It contains a whole new area to explore, new Pokemon to catch, new trainers to battle, more items to collect, and a whole lot more new things to do....not to mention, it still has everything from the first adventure.
I myself, have fallen into the Pokemon craze a few years back, and sad to say, I still like Pokemon. Not the toys, not the clothes, not the TV show, but the game. If Nintendo hadn't marketed Pokemon as a cute thing for kids, I'm sure a lot more older gamers would give the game a look. It offers hours of addictive gameplay, and requires you to use strategy when facing other trainers. Still, despite it's cute reputation, Pokemon Gold is a must have for RPG fans.

Summary: i love pokemon and think some of you give pokemon a bad rep cause you see it beets other of your favorites.this game had no technichal flaws.the meetings with team rocket were used in good situations.its indeptness and creativity was why its the best over "doom" and "duke nukem".i think they had a great idea and it conveys it.they did spice it up also when after jhoto a ticket was given so you can go to kanto.also since your a new trainer they let time elapse in kanto so you cant do some things that have been changed like the safari.after time passes they close it down.in general i recomend this game to all ages.
Summary: Wow, this game is great. Sure, it's a, "Pokemon," game, so it will turn a lot of older gamers off, but that's too bad, since it's a great RPG for anyone. There's about 250 monsters to uncover, (252 counting **semi-spoiler** the two extremely secret, promotional/gameshark Pokemon.**end semi-spoiler**) Gameplay is great, the graphics are nice, sound is superb, and replay is also high. A cool new feature to this Pokemon game is the real time clock, which keeps track of what time it really is, and it changes the time of day from morning, afternoon, or night accordingly. Some Pokemon only come out at certain times of day...which makes the hunting much more interesting!
