Nintendo GameCube Game Boy Player Gamecube Accessories Review

Nintendo GameCube Game Boy Player

Description
The Game Boy is finally ready for its debut on the big screen, allowing a library of more than 1,000 games designed for the original Game Boy, Game Boy Color and the current Game Boy Advance to be displayed on home televisions through the GameCube. The Game Boy Player, a one-inch platform connecting to the bottom of the GameCube, will match the Nintendo GameCube footprint and allow players to use either their console controller or Game Boy Advance to direct action on screen.

Price Paid:  $50.00 from wal mart

Summary:
What a piece of garbage. Who would waste 50 dollars to play cheezy game boy advance games on a big screen tv? They are meant to be played on the road/portable, so you don't need a contoller, game system and tv. More game boy advance games are good, but they are meant to be played in situations that a big game system can't. Don't waste your money on this, instead save up for an xbox or something and stick to your game boy advance for road trips, if you dont go on road trips, then why the hell did you get one?

Now, if you bought the game boy player, dont have a gameboy advance and just bought game boy advance games to play on the game boy player, are you deaf, or are you just stupid? Buy games that are meant to play on gamecube and have regular gamecube graphics.

Sure, its cool to play your game boy advance games on the big screen, but is definatly not neccesary. Overall, this gets, a 2 out of 5.

Summary:
Mine GBplayer came free with my gamecube at wal mart. It is like the old Super gameboy for Super NES but allows you to play the new ADVANCE only games. It just like having a GB, NES and Super Nintendo emulator on your Gamecube becuase most
gameboy color titles are NES qaulity and GBA title
are Super Nintendo.

Summary:
The GameCube GameBoy Advance Player is a great addition for anyone that owns a GCN. It is a snap to install. Flip your 'Cube over, take off the High Speed Port, put the GPAPlayer on it, take a coin, screw in the 2 screws, and your ready to play! I was watching a show on TechTV called "XPlay" and they even used the GBAPlayer for thier review on Wario Ware. I am sure they will use it for most GBA games from now on too.
