Started out as a really good game. But after about 15 minutes i realized a major flaw, one that totally turned me off the second i noticed it,... catchup AI. that's right, this game has a really, really, bad case of the catchups. Now, i know some people like games that the race goes down right to the very end, But if i kick a guy off his bike, or he runs into a tree, i have a really good feeling i won't be seeing him again any time soon, right? wrong. not even a quarter lap later he is right back up racing on the side of me! Wow, he must be Fast! or i might be slow. but if he's so fast why don't he blow by me? he just was going like 200+ miles per hour to catch up to me, why did he slow down? A first i thought it was just me, but after 5 or six races i started to notice what was going on.
But there is a plus side. The freestyle mode is totally awesome. I don't even race the game anymore, i just do the freestyle stuff. Plus there is multiplayer freestyle and raceing, which is even better.
Overall I don't know if the plus out-weighs the minus, but i would say that i would buy this game agian just for the multiplayer modes. Report this review >>
