Summary:
What can I say... I love this game. F1 2002 is a SIM, as in driving simulation. It's not meant to be an arcade racing game. There are no rockets to shoot and you don't kill anything (except all your free time). MarioKart this ain't! If you aren't in it for realistic driving, then don't bother buying or renting the game. Having played GT2 and Colin McRae Rally 2.0, I was looking to find a F1 SIM to round out my driving games. I found it rather expensive (CAD$79), but it's worth every penny. So, if you are a total F1 buff or a racing sim freak, buy it! Otherwise, rent it first.

Summary:
I have read the reviews of this game, and I'm quite puzzled as to what people are looking for in a Formula 1 game. I have played 3 versions of this game from PS2, XBOX, and now the Cube. To say that the graphics are worse than PS1, is a bit on the rediculous side. I have to say though that I was a little dissapointed with the graphics, not that they were bad, but not as sharp as the other two systems. Having said that, it does not take away from what is an otherwise awesome F1 game. People who judge this harshly obviously dont know a thing about Formula 1. EA leads the way in this genre of gaming, and really has no equal. Not much has changed between this game and F1 2001, but there wasn't much needed to be changed in the first place.

Summary:
While it isn't the worst game I have ever seen, it is most definitely a bad one. Plus, it is a bad port of F1 2001 from the Playstation 2 from last year. Why does Nintendo always get last year's hand-me-down versions from Sony all the time? Regardless, I didn't like it and you will get bored with it quickly - sim or not.

Summary:
I must have played a different game than the other review on here. Great game. All the tracks with all detail. All drivers available to choose from. This is not your hit the gas and go racing game. It is in fact a real racing simulation. Do not forget that point. If you are a hard core racer, and fan of F1(the worlds second most spectated sport), you will really love this game.
