Description Get behind the wheel of the G-6155 Interceptor for high-speed, mission-based racing in exotic locales. While operating your SpyHunter Interceptor, you are relentlessly pursued by hordes of air, ground and water enemies as you battle to accomplish your missions and save the world from the mind of a madman. A remake of the arcade classic, SpyHunter boasts ultra-realistic 3D graphics, real-world locales and the only vehicle capable of morphing into a boat, jet ski or motorcycle. Explosive weaponry and impressive defensive mechanisms combine with intense speed and strategy to distinguish SpyHunter from routine combat racers and traditional action racing games.

Summary: Im writing this review because i really like this game, and cant belive the slatings its been given here. I only bought it because it was in a sale at £20. (about $30 i think) and at this price it is outstanding. Doesnt look great, doesnt sound great, but once you play it, i think it rocks. I am clearly in the minority here, so you may want to try before you buy, but if you spot it in a sale as i did, id say snap it up quick!
Summary: Do not buy this game. Unfortunately I made this terrible mistake, and it's my luck that Best Buy doesn't allow you to return games based on the fact that they really stink. Now, I am stuck with a fifty-dollar game that has absolutely no redeeming attributes. (Well, gameplay is all right, but the graphics make this game nearly unplayable.) I wish Midway would accept returns on EVERY Spyhunter purchase.

Summary: Before I picked this game up, I had heard many rumors about its mediocrety. But me knowing I was probably about to waste 5 bucks, just couldn't resist. My curiosity wasn't about its bad rap, but of its concept. After enjoying hours of the driving missions in EA's Agent Under Fire, I wanted more of it. The closest thing I could find was none other than SpyHunter.
Upon pressing power on my lovely Cube, I had flashbacks of my early PSX years. Back then I had little money being a young teenager, so I had no magazines or internet. I was very ignorant of what games were good and what were bad, so I rented more than a handful of awefull titles. Theres really no feeling in the gaming world like wasting cash on complete garbage the publishers have the nerve to release. And SH is just that.
The overal design of SpyHunter itself is pretty good. The missions are are pretty good and challenging, but the everything else about the game just doesn't let it do what what it wants.

Summary: To sum this game up...EMBARASSMENT!!!!! I was very dissappointed in this game and in MidWay, who have always produced games that I love, but this, it looks like MidWay had 4 hours to complete development on this game, and I am not being biased. The only good thing about this game is the controller setup and the way that the controller handles. The missions are very finicky and the objectives that you must complete are very odd and provide for no fun-factor. Like I said before an overall dissappoinment. Anyone out there who is planning to buy this game, please don't.
