Summary: The sum is greater than the parts. Replay value is high. I hate having to learn various tricks and , thankfully, you don't have to with this game unless you want to. With the niche nature of the sport and its' sympathetic handling by NSC, it is impossible that any similar game will come along that will stop you loving it.
Summary: The water splashes around, the weather keeps revolving, the pace is radical and there is no mercy given. Do u like the scenario? Then give waverace all you've got

Summary: i love this game when i get mario sunshine, this will be bumped down to my third favorite gamecube game, but as of right now it sits squarely in second place (super smash is #1) and let me tell you something, people: I RACING GAMES. the only other racing games i have ever liked are mario kart and episode 1 podracing (i don't know why, i just think it's fun) and, i d waverace 64. nintendo really raised the bar with this game, and i 'm very happy they did. nigel carver in all of his australian-ness makes me smile every time as he zooms by serena del mar and the other "competition" but, seriously, the racers DO get tougher as the championship modes get higher, and there's no short of fun in this game.

Summary: Not having played the N64 version of this game and not, in general, being a sports game fan, I bought this game on a brief demo alone. The demo didn't do it justice. Initially difficult to get the hang of due to very repsonsive controls, I am still not tempted to frequently trouble the sports mode as combinations are not my thing. Thankfully, the main competition does not depend on the kind of combinations that have me playing only the intro of Super Smash Bros. Melee, unless you are troubling the Stunt Mode, which there is no need to do. In fact, a good intro is one of the few real things lacking.
