Nintendo Final Fantasy-Crystal Chronicles Gamecube Roleplaying Review

Nintendo Final Fantasy-Crystal Chronicles

Description
In Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles, friends can adventure together! As many as four players will be able to connect Game Boy Advances to a Nintendo GameCube with a game disk. Because each party member's stats will only be displayed on their GBA, poisoned members will have to ask the magic user for a healing spell. Of course, Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles will be a blast if played solo.

Summary:
After a long period of time away from Nintendo, SquareEnix has come back to the Nintendo with Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles for the GameCube. This game has been long awaited by all, and with a few adjustments to the battle engine, this game is shining like new. A brand new game, fresh from SquareEnix, is using one of the most powerful tools of the GCN, which is the link cable between the GCN and the GBA. This connectivity feature lets the game play out in real time. No more menus on the screen and waiting for your friends. This time, you got your own screen and so does your party. While you switch items or equip armor, your party will still be fighting, so this means no pausing and this gives the game a flowing pattern with no stops. The only time you can pause the game is if you are playing alone in a single player quest, where you can use a GCN controller rather than a GBA. You can play multiplayer mode alone, but be warned, you do need a GBA for the controller and there will not be any pauses. This game is made to be read like a book, and it is not to be put down. With the amazing graphics and incredible sound, you will feel the intensity of this game.

Summary:
This is one of the best games I've played in a while. It's not the same old Final Fantasy weve come to love, but its definitely something worth digging up some money for.

Summary:
overall this game ROCKS! but if your an entire final fantasy freak this isnt what youl be expecting. if youve never played final fantasy and want a good hack and slash game with some magic mixed int with it, youl love this game. i have to say that the multiplayer is the best except taht one person gets stuck with that stupid lamp that they have to carry around so that the others wont get poisoned. you can drop it to help your friends, but then you have to stay in the protected circle. the moogle following you on single player is pointless because he stays right with you and cant die

Summary:
Overall, I'd say his game is like 'Zelda meets Gauntlet meets Boulder's Gate' it doesnt feel exactly liek a Final Fantasy, with the exception of the Crystals, some music, character design, magic, and other references. The real time combat and the heart-energy thing is what makes FFCC not similar to other FFs. IN the bright side, FFCC is one of THE BEST GRAPHICS EVER TO GRACE ON A CONSOLE. PERIOD. I you were crazy, you would buy this game just because of the graphics. This is a really fun MULTIPLAYER game (notice i didnt say 'single player), and the sound/music is not half bad. I recommend this game for hardcore FF Fanatics and the like (Gaunlet, Zelda, etc?) For depper information, read more below.
