Price Paid:  $20.00 from Video Game Heaven (in Winnipeg)

Summary:
Man, this game was surprisingly fun! Super fun! It's a whole bunch of winter events kind of in minigames. Where else can you play curling in a video game? (For Non-Canadians, curling is a sport kind of like giant shuffle board on ice). The curling is super fun to play. You can also play figure skating, bobsled, snowboarding, speed skating, and a whole whack of skiing events. You can probably find this game cheap and used at lots of places like blockbuster, and its definitely worth 20 or 30 bucks.

Summary:
Very poor game. I hated these general athletic games back when they were everywhere (the Summer Games, Winter Games, etc. etc. from Epyx) and this is the same bad game with great graphics.

I rented this game with an open mind, and found a wealth of fun and excitement.
If you like the old school multi event games, you will like this one.

, from Metepec. Mexico

Price Paid:  $55.00 from Local Game Store

Summary:
The ESPN IWS 2002 is REALLY a simple game to control. But to master it really needs timing and not getting desperate. Maybe it´s not the best winter sports game ever made, but you can really spend a nice time playing it. I would advise you to rent it first before you decide to buy it.
The bottomline is just pushing the buttons at the right time, from smashing 2 buttons, to a little more complex using buttons and arrows. And, of couse, in some events you can entirely control your character. You can get the most fun of it with a friend, deciding who is the dumbest is the snow (Me several times)
There are 10 sports events to choose from.
-Downhill Alpine Skiing
-Slalom Alpine Skating
-K90 Individual Ski Jump
-K120 Individual Ski Jump
-Moguls Freestyle Skiing
-Halfpipe Snowboarding
-Speed Skating 500m
-Bobsleigh
-Curling
-Figure Skating
