Atlus Cubivore Gamecube Strategy Review

Atlus Cubivore

Description
The premise of Cubivore is simple… Eat or be eaten. Assume the role of an animal in its early stages of development. But, in the harsh reality of nature, this creature has no parent to coddle and protect it. From the moment the game begins, your creature is on its own to fend for its life. As your animal instincts take over, you will boldly traverse hostile environments, savagely stalking your prey and asserting your place in the animal chain of power. Will you have what it takes to become the new king of the beasts?

Summary:
This is the strangest game I and probably anyone else in the universe has ever played. But that is what makes it so amusing. I wonder what on earth made the developer decide to make a video game about a cube shaped animal that can be controlled and evolved however the player wants it to. This game is just odd. But yet it's also one of the funnest games I've played.

Summary:
BON APPÉTIT!

Did you know that in Japan the picky experts at Famitsu rated Nintendo's Animal Leader 37/40, the same score bestowed upon Super Mario Sunshine? Yet, who knows Animal Leader / Cubivore outside of Japan? Who knows that it was produced by Miyamoto himself, anyway? Then again, who doesn't know Sunshine by now? The fact is: Cubivore truly shines! Highly underrated (when rated, that is...), to my humble opinion.
