Description The #1 PC game of all-time makes its GameCube debut. Create and control your Sims with new level-based game play and 3D graphics. Customize your Sim?s personality and appearance then move into the neighborhood. Get a job, make friends and advance through your career and life's big moments. Unlock new objects and bigger houses along the way. Meet, flirt and fight with a neighborhood full of wild characters. You can also load your Sims into a friend?s game and play two-player games.
Summary: This may be the perfect console game for gamers with girlfriends. Instead of the usual "sigh, are you playing THAT again?", The Sims usually seems to elicit the more favorable "let me play" reaction from the female set.
Why? Well, here you have a game dedicated to home and garden design, interior decorating, and building relationships. What more could a girl want?
Seriously, it's the same nuts and bolts as the ubiquitous PC game, with a better graphical interface, some new items, and a co-operative 2 player mode.

Summary: This is an awesome game. First I must say, if you are not sure if this (a teen game) is appropiate for your child, yes. Only if he's/ she's 10-12, I recommend. Under that age I would stay away from it. It's not as bad as it looks. Boxes black out people going to the bathroom, etc. This is a real life game. I rented it at Roger's and I must say this is definatly a must-buy for Gamecube, even Xbox or PS2. There are a lot more options to choose from including the "Get a life mode" which I have much enjoyed. The multiplayer is cheezy, but is entertaining. I only unlocked the first one (The museum) where you have to scam people and take money from them. I lost to my sister who unsespectingly stole money from me and I couldn't take it back. Get a life mode is new and interesting where you have to complete goals, like fix the TV, get a job, complete all goals so you can move out etc. I haven't played the Sims mode yet because I have been too tied in the get a life mode. Another bad thing is that the time goes buy to fast! It takes my Sim to an hour toi make breakfast and now he can't shower or use the washroom because he's late for work! But believe me, I would buy this game, it's a great game!
Summary: I love the sims for the pc. I have The sims, Liven LArge, House party, Hot date, and vacation. I havent yet got unleashged but all of them are fun and keep getting funnier all the time. So when i heared Gamecube has the sims i jumped. I ran to the Blockbutse to rent it for a week. I am a nintendo fan, i have NES, N64, and a Gamecube./ Gamecube is so much better textures and grpahics than ps2. dont know bout x-box but i know gamecube isa much better than ps2. The sims for gamecube ofers doubletextures than ps2 and i found it fun for the time i plyed it.
Summary: I was very excited when I heard this game would be coming to GameCube. That is the reason I bought one as I had no desire to own a PS2, PC or X-Box. I have wanted to play this game since I saw it for PC's. The long wait was worth it. If you have played any of the sim games such as Sim City, Sim Ant, etc. and enjoyed them you will love this one. You essentially live out the life of an ordinary Joe like you would live your own life. 'Get a Life' is the only option when you start, which is a mission based game where you meet certain goals and progress your life and career till you win the game, which is a first for The Sims. 'Play the Sims' is based on the traditional game where you control everything forever essentially. The game lasts as long as you choose as you play out your life and the lives of others in your neighborhood. This game mode is unlocked soon after you play the other and get past the first level. Rent or buy: Renting is always a good idea if you're not sure you will like this type of game but my guess is that you will soon be running out to buy the game. Gotta go, my Sim needs to go to the can again!
