, from USASummary: This game is simply awesome. You start off as Donkey Kong, and the rest of your clan is kidnapped by the evil K.Rool. You must go to different Islands in search of your family and friends.
Once you find a member of the DK crew, you can now play as that character whenever you want. There are 5 members you must rescue from bosses and other things.
To help you out on your mission, you can buy guns and such to defeat enemys. Each character in this game has his or her own special abilities and weapons.
Also, the graphics for this game are the best that I have evr seen for the N64. These graphics are so crisp that they may even match up to Gamecube, (maybe).
The sound is awesome, it really makes you feel like you are really there in the jungle! It is really too bad that the N64 never had any speaking in any of their games, all of the Nintendo games, including this one, only have the talking in captions docked at the bottom of your screen.
The controls are a little hard at first, but after a while you'll get the hang of them. Almost every button on that control has a button that is crucial to beating this hard-to-beat game. The replay value of this game is very high, due to the fact that the game is very complex and fun.
Although i do not own this game, (i borrowed it from a friend), I probably would get it, but for now i think i'll stay with PS2. But if you only have 64 and other less graphically inclined systems, this is the game for you, it is a small taste of what graphics should be for a game, and what and all-around great game should be.
So, i still do not understand why this game is under rted compared to Super Mario 64. This game has about twice as good graphics, twice as good gameplay, better music, and is much more fun, try this game, please, if you like it, buy it. If you don't, tell Nintendo that you want better games. Report this review >>
