Summary:
This game is horrible. Trust me. I don't know why you're even reading this review, at the time I wrote it the game was nearly three years old. In fact, i dunno why i wrote this, just really bored i guess. But anyway, if you're thinking of getting this for like 5 bucks somewhere, don't. It's not even worth that. Unless you're semi-retarded and like riding around in circles over and over and over, you won't find much interest in this game. That's basically all there is to it. I payed about 48 dollars too much for this crap in a box. Wish I could give it a 0.

Summary:
Oh boy, is this a disappointment. I already own NASCAR 2000 for the Sony PlayStation, and I figured that that version and the Nintendo 64 version were practically identical. However, my friend Tenchiphan got it (his award for winning Review of the Week back on Oct. 13th) and we booted it up on his N64. And quite frankly, I'm disappointed. Not so much because the two versions are different, but because the PS version is so much better. Practically every aspect in this game is executed better on the PS version, and overall, NASCAR 2000 N64 seems a bit bland after a while. Sure, it's a decent game with some qualities, but it is not the excellent racer that its PlayStation brethren is. NASCAR fans may find some enjoyment in this simply because it is NASCAR, but casual racing fans looking for a great N64 racing game are better off looking elsewhere.
