Summary: Piloit Wings 64 is a game that takes you into the air on a number of vehicle missions, testing your flying abilities in four different locations. The missions are fun until the last few, and they can get irritating at times, but perhaps that's becuase the game is actually a challenge (gasp!).
Summary: This is one of the 1st N64 games and i still consider it to be one of the best. The music is good, the control is excellent, and the graphics are great for a first-gen game. Lots of replay value!

Summary: In an age of uninspired shooters, lackluster fighters, and a general need for something unique in the video game industry, Nintendo kindly obliged us all with Pilotwings 64, the second of Nintendo 64's launch titles (the other being the utterly brilliant Super Mario 64). A 64-bit update of the SNES classic, Pilotwings 64 manages to get just about everything right, while providing a unique and unforgettable gaming experience that cannot be duplicated. To put it quite simply, Pilotwings 64 is a great game that no N64 gamer should do without. After all, there aren't that many great N64 games out there, so take what you can get, huh? Now, I know some people read my reviews on this site and think I'm some anti-Nintendo bastard who worships Sony and Sega. This could not be further from the truth. I was raised on Nintendo. In my life I have owned the NES, SNES, and Game Boy consoles. I am an unbiased gamer who happens to see the Nintendo 64 as a good system with some quality games, but ultimately a great disappointment. Fortunately, Pilotwings 64 is one of those titles I would call my own if I were to buy an N64.
Summary: As being one of the first debut titles for the Nintendo 64 (and both of those games being the next evolution of their Super NES brethren), Pilotwings 64 was one of the most fun games I still own, even after more than three years of release. Basically, Pilotwings 64 is a flight-simulation game, where your goal is to pass tests to earn the perfect score, and likewise, get to the next level.
In the original game, your goal was to earn a pilot's license by doing the same kinds of tests. These tests involved flying through rings through most of the SNES game, and Pilotwings 64 has those too, with extra challenges. There's missile launching on the gyrocopter, which allows for target practice and enemy shooting goals. The hanglider gives you a camera, and some tasks require you to take a snapshot of an object, being graded on the accuracy of the picture. These unique tasks is what gives the game a more attractiveness feel to play, and also barrs away from the repetition the previous game suffered. If you managed to score high on all your tests, you get to unlock other methods of flight, like getting shot from a cannon, skydiving, and jumblehopping. Do good on these, and you get to freefly in any of the game's four stages in four different settings. All of these modes add to the game's relplay value; just enough for me to keep playing it to this day.
Summary: Its actually ages sinse I played this game, but I found it to be generally enjoyable though requiring persistence. I personally liked it a lot but I can easily see how people who prefer an instantly fun game would simply find it boring.
