Review NaN of 37

Price Paid:  $59.00 from Best Buy 1995

Summary:
After playing so many terrible Doom Clones, I just had to write a supportive review for the original...the best. Whoa, I thought that Doom was hard so many years ago, but Im in the process of defeating a game called "Serious Sam" which apparently has earned an over abundance of false raving reviews. Comparing Serious Sam to Doom 2 is like comparing a pair of silicone breast to the real things.

Summary:
Well first of all....Anybody that has played first person shooter games would surely know about this game. This was the revolution of FPS. Sure wolfenstein was the pioneer of first person...but come on!! Just look how easy it is to play this game.....just shoot and advance...every after a level you wanna make sure evrything is dead...that's the mission.

Price Paid:  $10.00 from Wal-mart

Summary:
This was the first game I bought for my computer. It was also the first game I bought for my Play station. I love the Doom games.
On Doom II you have to shoot demons from hell. You can get a pistol, two different shotguns,a chaingun,a chainsaw,a rocket launcher, and two or three other weapons.
You must shoot Imps,Cacodemons,Barons of hell, shotgun men, spider demons, etc. You can collect armor and health. You can have a maximum of 200 armor and health.
The game is first person and feels like you're really there.
What I like better about Doom II than the original is that you can play all the way through. On the original the game ends after each Episode. Then you have to start another episode and you lose every weapon except your pistol. I think that sucks.
Doom II was an improvement and it was fun. At the very end it has a couple of levels that look like Wolfenstein.
Here's some good news for Game Boy Advance owners. Doom II has been released for the GBA.

Summary:

Ok, I love First person shooters and im guessing
that almost every gamer does. But if you read one review of this game, read mine. Doom 2 is
kinda,... in a few words simply amazing. I think about Doom at work and school, allot. Well not
that much. But it is sure a hell of a game.
Right now, and for a long time the only games
I am playing are Battlefield 1942, Unreal 2003,
Aliens versus predator 2, Doom one and 2.
And Medal of Honour, RTCW, maybe a bit of Freedom
Force and Thief 2.
The games that I plan to buy later this year are
No one lives forever 2 looks amazing,
Unreal 2, dont get me start salivating,
Medal of honour: Spearhead and Simcity 4.
THese are all amazing games that i have listed.

But none compare to the pure simplicity and sheer
fun of Doom 2. After a hard day at school
or work you just need to come home and
shoot someting. Dont ya? Ya you do.

Doom is a great game, though it has pretty dated graphics, but the sensation of a hell lot of monsters coming at ya is fantastic.
