Summary:
This is one of the greatest testaments of the BUILD engine license. Although it does not add much to the BUILD community except for the examples of the awesome scripting power of BUILD in only Redneck Rampage Rides Again. Some quirky bugs, but great if you like the redneck culture stereotypes.

Summary:
Now if you want a decent shooter game with extremely detailed lookin' graphics and nice big guns. You'll find it all here in Redneck Rampage! All the cussin', gore, violence, redneck humor, you could ask for, even a tad bit too much for that trusty shotgun in yer hands. The game is awesome and fun, i beat the whole thing withen 1 day but to make it better. You can download User Levels from the internet too. A good level i recommend for you fans of the game is The Hunt for Redneck October. NOW BOY, if you hadn't bought this game yet, GET IT! And its sequels like Rides Again and Suckin' Grits on Route 66! Don't get the Cuss! Pack if your offended by langauge, atleast i'm not :)

Summary:

This is NOT as good as it's sequal. But does add something new to the FPS genre with laughs and violence galore. This was a good idea, and a very good one at that. This game isn't really supposed to be up there with DOOM and Duke Nukem, it's just supposed to be a fun romp.

Summary:
I love first person shooter games, so as soon as I saw the box for this one sitting on the shelf it looked quite comical and entertaining so I decided to grab a copy. Not a bad idea, that was, but not a terribly good one either...In Redneck Rampage, you play a farmer called Leonard who has had his property taken over by aliens and hostile farmers who want your land. In the process, they have kidnapped your farmer buddy Bubba, and you must rescue him. The entire game is set in the country which makes for a nice change in the 3D shooter era. Most of the time your backdrops are trees and bushes which can get very repetitive, which is the first problem with this game. It just isn't varied enough, you see the same thing over and over again. The graphics are respectable, they are quite similar to DUKE 3D graphics, and the enemies are still cardboard cut-out figures! The weapons in RR are all your typical ones with very little improvement or originality from other 3D games. For example, shotguns, pistols, rifles, etc. Pretty average stuff in anyone's world. Ammunition for all the weapons is pretty damn stingy as well. Most of the time I found myself using my crowbar because the game didn't give me enough ammunition to use anything else. Health is restored by eating pies or drinking whiskey which is pretty original, but where it all falls down is that there are 2 metres on your status display which monitor your stomach and drunkenness. If you drink too much you get drunk, if you each too much you can't move properly. Pretty annoying if you ask me, but still original nonetheless.Throughout the entire game, it never gets serious once. You always cry out stupid lines like "HUSH PUPPY!" when you pick up and new weapon, and it all gets very repetitive. At least Duke 3D had some variety in speech, this game has none whatsoever. If you are a dedicated 3D fan, you might find some sort of game in here. But there are so many great 3D games out there like Half-Life which kick this game to a pulp. Stick to those instead.

Summary:
I don't know about anyone else, but Redneck Rampage is by far the most exciting action game out in a long time. Not only does the graphics for this game rock, but the music is outstanding. The music fits perfectly with the theme of the game. I give this a perfect score.
