from On eBay Summary: This game is a mixed breed. To some people, it's half good and half bad. To the serious adventure gamer (Like Me), it's a very good game. Made by Roberta Williams (Creator of the cute and nice little King's Quest series) comes a violent and dark game not intended for children. Adrienne Delaney, a novelist, and her husband Don Gordon, a photographer, buy an extremely large and gothic mansion/castle in Massachusetts. How they afforded this castle and why they chose it is beyond me (Maybe the blood dripping from the walls didn't get to them.) Contolling Adrienne, you wander around the mansion making comments about everything. Soon you find a hidden chapel, in which you find out this house is (Surprise!) haunted. You unwittingly release a demon who takes over Don, turning him into a psychopathic, make-up wearing, invulnerable, agressive photographer dude. This game is surprisingly easy and is VERY short for a seven (7) Cd game. I mean, the only puzzle in chapter two (2) is buying drain cleaner! However, the plot is very good and the graphics were good for it's time. One of the weird things are that Adrienne can carry a fireplace poker, a hammer, and a large book in her pockets at the same time. Hmmm. Buy Phantasmagoria if you're in a weird mood.
