Summary:
F-22 Lightning 3 is overall a very enjoyable game. What I, personally, like about L3, is it's very long running campaignns, not quite as good as Janes simulations, but definately a close runner-up! Another good side ove L3, is that it's missions are realistic. I mean, it's not like you have to save the entire world from an evil force or anything like that. It focuses on real-life events, something that would definately make sence to happen in real life.

Summary:
I tend to write loads of pages about stuff, but in the case of this game, I can be real brief and still be very throurough.

Gameplay in this game?
Real easy to explain:

Take Delta Force 1 or Delta Force 2.
Change Voxel graphics to 3D polygon graphics.
Change soldier to jetfighter.
Change enemy soldiers patrolling/guarding to jetfighters doing the same thing.

And that's about it.
Everything from the mission/map screens, options screens, everything is just like those in the DF games.
I can't complain, they are very efficient and well-designed.

YET, I couldn't help get that feeling that missions were "canned" missions, that same feel I would get with the Delta Force games.

Summary:
There is really nothing to complain about here, and everything to praise. I believe some computer games, like music, film, and painting, is at its highest level and art form, and with minor qualifications, I consider this game, along with Janes F15, Grim Fandango, and the cream of Dreamcatcher(which are very few)to be a work of art.

Summary:
Through out the history of combat flight sim's many have been noted for perhaps one or two catagories. However, none so well desgined as the tactical flight simulator that is F-22 Lightning 3. This is a program that punches through the standard for video games. This more like a Air Combat movie that pits you as the director. From the desktop to the cockpit as fast as you can get the fuel flowing.

Summary:
What a GREAT game! A must buy for any flight combat fan. Graphics are great, especially the lightning and mushroom cloud! Decent one player, but best playing against buddies on the internet. It's an easy game to play, but is hard to master it's true power! Soooo much fun I tell you!
