from Media Play Summary: For me, having played Privateer didn't help much when I started playing Priv. 2. Every aspect of the game was different, storyline, people, graphics, and so on. What I liked about the game was that it contained nice little movie clips like Privateer, but with real people. I tested the game on two computers, a Pentium 2 laptop and a Alienware top-of-the-line Desktop. On the laptop, there were many little glitches here and there that froze my computer out in space. Other than that there was no problem. On the desktop, everything was very smooth, and the movies did not contain those annoying horizontal lines.
This game has improved a quantum deal from the previous game. 2D to 3D, amazing graphics, details, and sound. If they lept so much from the first to the next, then I wonder how great the 3rd is going to be.
Origin I have found has the best tech support around. You are in good hand if you buy this game.
