Summary: If you would have compared Deer Hunter 3 to some of the newer games, you might have stated in your mind that it's not the best. Back then when the game was first made and new, the hunting gaming world would have liked it a lot. Only because it was new, better than the last one in the series.
My point here is, stop hunting for deer in Deer Hunter 3 and start hunting for a better hunting game.

Summary: Face it people, the deer hunter games are not good games. Now i hear you saying, "But if theyre no good why do people buy them? They're bestsellers!" These people must not have heard of carnivores, which is a better hunting game by far. First time gamers, those people who shop for games at walmart probably pick this game up. They see Deer Hunter emblazoned across about fifty boxes in a huge display. This sells copies. However if they would look down along the bottom row they would see some high quality games like Alpha Centurai, Grim Fandango, or Half-life that really deserve their hard earned cash. Deer Hunter sells well, but it doesn't play well. Deer Hunter has some of the worst graphics, sound and gameply you will ever see in a game. The whole series should be condemned. They give a bad name to all computer games trying to make it. Some people do like these games though.

Summary: If you want a game where shooting things is the objective and it is mindless, get any of the Quakes instead (all of them have better graphics, hell Doom 2 has better graphics_

Summary: If you like hunting, this is the game for you. I am a really hard rater when it comes to games. Just look at my other reviews! But, I have to tell you, this is an awesome game. If you have an extra $50.00 on hand, this would be the best way to spend your money. Even if you're not a hunter, you will like this game. I guarintee it!!!!
