, from UK

Price Paid:  $40.00 from Virgin (4 years ago!)

Summary:
Damn fine game. Recently re-installed after discovering a fosilised copy of the game beneath my bed.

This is an excellent game, simply because it is very basic. You trade, scavange and kill, whilst at the same time working toward an overall goal. The goal is to leave Titan and the city of misplaced optimism. The storyline is interwoven throughout the game through the use of video and 'special missions.'
Overall the game steels a bit from the ELITE but that does'nt matter because a lot of games have done in the past and have got it completely wrong. This game doesn't rely on trading and you can choose how to make your money, whether it be through trading, or hunting down known criminals. There is also the freedom to be a simple pirate, and to make all of your money through piracy.

, from lowell, Mass, USA

Price Paid:  $2.00 from Ames

Summary:
The object of the game is to leave Titan, one of Jupiter's moons...or was it Saturn ? Anywho, all you have to do is get a ship (Moth) strong enough so that you could leave the moon. But you only start out with 10,000, so, you have to get a job. You can either be a scavenger (a person who looks for metals of fallen ships), a trader (you should know what that is), or an ggressor (an aggressive person).

When you finally get your ship strong enough you can fly away.

The Lazarus Family rocks !

Price Paid:  $4.00 from Zellers

Summary:
Currently on-sale for $4 at Zellers, for that price it is absolutely fantastic. I would even pay $35 for it, its that good. Very clean Graphics, well written code, no hang-up, graphics on par with current strategy titles, complete 3D freedom, your part of the game, lots of activity arround you. Your success or failure does not drive the story. Its a real immersion type game that I like

Price Paid:  $5.00 from Marden's

Summary:
The basic plot of Hardwar is that you are a citizen on the moon Titan. You live in a city appropriately known as Misplaced Optimism. Your main goal is to leave the moon by any means possible. There is also a story which you can get involved with if you like that involves two major factions in the city: Lazarus and Klamp-G.
