Summary:
Although this game was a gift to me, I loved it all the same. After downloading the demo and playing that until my eyes nearly burned out of my sockets, I was highly impressed with this game. Although not as good as my favorite RTS, Stronghold, this is sure to please almost anyone. From laying waste to an empire, to taking down a wonder (A very expensive, very big, very nice work of art 'building' that sometimes wins a scenario) to sending leigons of men to slay peasants (Bahahaha) I loved it, it is a MASSIVE improvment over AOE 1, which needed more units and races.

Summary:
This is a very good game. The Rise of Rome is an expansion to the best-seller Age of Empires. It is based on real history and is actually accurate. Seven new units and 4 new civs is not very bad. Great Expansion.

Summary:
Well, a very pleasing game. Good gameplay and 7 new units and 4 new civilizations is very nice indeed. Some more hidden units in the terrain editor and some new options to choose from. It is a very nice game indeed, better than other RTS titles. Even this game is quite old, it is still good and fun to play with.

Summary:
RoR is an excellent game. The RoR expansion is a welcome addition to the AoE game. Superb graphics for a 2D game. Clever animations, and excellent sound. I highly recommend this game. Even with my ancient system, the game plays smoothly and quickly. The glitches are few and far between. This is just a solid, strong all-around game. I hope you have lot's of time to kill, cuz' you'll need it once this game's installed on your machine.
