Summary: Overall, the game was boring. Boring campaigns, boring gamplay, boring graphics and boring sound! I just got bored with it to fast. It's like a high tech board game. If you want a board game, play one, CW generals 2 is a waste of time in my opinion. Anyother game you have on your computer is probably more fun.
Summary: Overall this is a good game. It does have some glitches. For example when I'm playing a scenario the game doesn't respond and I have to close the game and start over. Despite it's glitches its a pretty good game.

Summary: This is one of my favorite games. The complaints (preferences) of some about such as the combat strength of some units, or their ease in rallying, all can be adjusted to their taste, by using the editor. Maps, unit strength, morale, leadership, etc., can all be adjusted. I have, for example, created whole new battles of the War with Mexico (1848) using the editor.

Summary: I found CWar Gen. Two an improvement over One. The inclusion of improved maps was a definite plus. The general playability was hampered by the annoying " Chicken Coop" information. Some marker indicating the unit was unavailable for combat would have been better than having to click several times to discover that, and read "Couldnt beat up a chicken coop." The ability of units and armies to rebound was also unrealistic. Units can be virtually annihilated then show up later at full strength without any limitations. Likewise in "Campaign" mode, the North can win a series of scenarios, then amazingly find the South at full strength and winning successive scenarios. Most ridiculous are the "sharpshooters", who can be mauled , then recover quickly, traverse a number of hexes, and inflict significant damage. On balance, decent playability, but weak in terms of progressive scenarios.
Summary: Lots of battles to choose from. The game editor is very intense and detailed. Good sound effects and video clips. The historical info that comes included is nicely put together. The tutorial could have been better. I enjoyed playing this very much.
