Summary: When I first got this game last year I was all hip-hip hooray. I got home, played like 5 hours before unknowingly giving up. But that was mostly because of the fact that I had to use my dads slow laptop. When I got a new computer I completely forgot about LoM. Then when I moved the computer and software up to my room, I uncovered it and a few months later installed it.
Now I am a big time role-player and way into old mythical fantasy games, so I know what I'm talking about when I say this has got to be the best RPG/Mythical Fantasy game there is. You can have hours of fun on your quest to defeat the evil Lord Balkoth. And after that, you can BE him! I highly recommend this to anyone who likes Fantasy RPG and Mythical creatures in their games.

Summary: When I had first purchased this game, I tried playing it and was bored out of my mind. For the record, I was thirteen at the time. Now, two years later, one day when I was bored of Warcraft II and had explored the entirety of all 6 cd's of Baldur's Gate (Tales of the Sword Coast included, realizing that I had no life, I turned back to a game I had almost thrown out. Boy am I glad that I did. The game is your typical Fantasy schpiel, there is a Dark Lordish baddie, and a multitude of disassembled fantasy races like Elves and dwarves (even hobbit imitations!) Your objective is to save the world from the evil and defeat it once and for all. En Guard! Cliche! Overall, the game gets 5/5 (but two years ago, I would have given it 1/5). I recomment this game for those over 13.
Summary: This unbiased review is being submitted for a pretty old game, called "Lords of Magic Special Edition." The overall 5-star rating may seem biased, but you will agree if you just give the game a chance. Many sites give this game only a good or above average rating, but I think it is one of the BEST fantasy games out there. Pick a copy up before no one sells them anymore. This reviewer here has a life, and also plays games! Recent games I like include award winners such as Heroes III, Diablo series, and Baldur's Gate, yet Lords of Magic SE is comparable to all these. Let's keep the review short and straight to the point.
Summary: I've played this game for a VERY long time now. I think I now all the ins & outs & I still play it. So, let me tell you this: The game is briliant.
Summary: This is an excellent game - the best one I've ever come across. I played the demo for over three months and then I got the full game. Every part of the game - music, picture, strategy, action blends in with the other effectively. The story's superb. The pictures are devastating and the strategy is terrific. The action is good too -considering some of the magic spells. It is such a rich fantasy game. But the best part of the game is of course - the music. You can never hear better music than this in your life. The music of the life, water, air and earth faiths is especially good. You can download the music at www.lordsofmagic.com. I cannot convert into words my liking and appreciation for the game. I say it again - it is the best game ever.
