Summary:
my opinions are based on a current (3/02) playing of the game. i have never played any of the panzer general games before playing fantasy general. fantasy general is a hex-based strategy wargame.

Summary:
You'll either dismiss this game as being a cheap knock-off of Panzer General or you'll love it as a unique variation on a tried-and-true strategy genre. In my opinion, because of the variety of tactics and troops, Fantasy General is a classic with addictive gameplay.

Summary:
The ver first time I played it I was hooked. I think it a great game for beginers and experts. Its not to hard to learn but later on in the game it is much harder.Some of he chracters are very cool and fun to read about. I havent play much but it has kept me occupied all summer.

Summary:
The game is difficult to beat, and the choice of monsters is quite large, but I found it to be unrealistic. The battles were are roll chance, and I'd rather be able to have some effect on how my men fight, not just who they fight. The game will definitely work the strategic mind however, because the upper levels are practically impossible. I bought it when it first came out, and was a little disappointed for the money, but for what it costs now, it's a pretty good by.
