Review NaN of 13
, from Nevada

Price Paid:  $20.00 from compusa

Summary:
As a long time player of the WH40K tabletop game, I was skeptical over how well this game would represent the 40k universe. But it was only $20, so I figured what the hell. Well, I would gladly pay double now that I have played the game!!! This is, without a doubt, the best translation of a board game to computer game that I have ever seen. If you want to play WH40k without spending hours (and lots of money) painting miniatures, setting up terrain, etc. then this game is just as good. And you don't have piles of stuff to clean up! I only wish there were sequels to cover the other WH40k races, like Orcs! Other than that gripe, this game is my favorite game ever!

Summary:
First of all I would just like to say that the people who knocked this game because they thought the music was a little cheezy are damn fools. I thought that the music was great. Considering that this game is 4 years old now this is one of the best games I've played. I can definitely say that it is the best game I ever played from that time period. I have played the real table top game for over 2 years now and currently own 3 armies so I do have a good idea what the whole 40k universe is about. Obviously the game play is not the same as the table top version is but the game would be pretty darn boring if it was the same. I also noticed that the weapons etc. are extremely accurate. In the end a great game!

P.S. If you liked this game try Fallout Tactics: The Brotherhood Of Steel. It is the best game I've ever played and it is a turn based game as well(although it has nothing to do with warhammer).

Price Paid:  $5.00 from Comp Usa

Summary:
One of the best games I've ever played and definitely the best turned base small unit combat game on the market even years after its release. The other reviewers have summed up the game rather nicely. I knew virtually nothing about Warhammer except that it was a miniatures game, but really enjoyed the campaign storyline(simple but effective) and the extensive encyclopedia included within the game.

Summary:
This is the closest a turn-based W40K board game gets in a PC, period. A high attention to rules, characters, weapons, stats make this the perfect turned based game. Nothing thrills me more than to equip my Ultramarine squads. The only possible flaw in this game is the fact that you don´t have a Chaosmarine campaign. The rest of the game is perfect.
