Summary: Red Alert is surely on the list of my top five video games. It is up there with Ms. Pacman (arcade), Zelda(nintendo), Grand Theft Auto 3(computer and ps2), and Halo(x-box).
Summary: Even this game is a classic, it is still good. The first Command & Conquer game was called Command & Conquer, made in 1995. It was a popular RTS game, back in 1995, and they released an expansion pack called Convert Operations. In 1996, Westwood Studios released this game, Command & Conquer Red Alert. It also became a popular game, probably one of the best known Command & Conquer series. After that, Westwood Studios released the expansion pack, called Aftermath, in 1997, and in 1998, they released CounterStrike. This pack includes 2 Mission CD's, one Allied Mission Disk, and the Soviet Mission Disk. This game has Multiplayer, Single Solo Missions, Skirmish, and video clips, and music. Right now, Westwood Studios has released Red Alert 2 and the expansion pack, Yuri's Revenge. There is an Windows 95/98 version or a DOS version for slower computers.
Summary: I borrowed the game from a friend for about two months.. I was INCREDIBLY disappointed. I played through the Soviet missions and discovered that they were *incredibly* over-powered! The *ONLY* hope of winning for the Allies is on sea levels- getting the Cruisers. I played through the Soviet missions in many an hour.. I estimate that the final mission took me about 10 hours.. maybe two thirds of that was looking for 4 $##^$ing camo pillboxes!!! I played then through the Allied missions- figuring that after a easy routing of the Allies, and a frustrating search for hidden buildings, i could use a break. I played through, easily enough.. and THIS time, the final level took me MORE than 10 hours.. You'll never guess what I spent 7 hours of my life on- the search for 4 @#%@#%ing submarines! YEARGGHH! Well, finally, i beat the mission.. UGG.. Having completed the one player, I moved on to Skirmishes. Well, lets see.. Soviets: Impossible to lose with on land levels- they DOMINATE the land and air. Allies: VERY weak. They have two units that stand a chance of winning foryou- the Missile Copter (Hind) and the Cruiser. The Hind is much worse than the Mig and Cruisers get eaten alive by Subs, even with Destroyers. Your land forces have absolutely no chance of living either way.

Summary: What a classic. Red Alert is one of the best games Ive played. Red Alert has good music but not so great graphics. The graphics look like cartoons. The sound is wonderful though. The characters have great acsents and the music gets you into the game. Hey you out there bored of looking for something to do? Buy Red Alert you'd be amazed FOR 10 BUCKS!!!

Summary: I have justed posted my review after playing this game for over a year, and I have never got bored of it, which is a good sign. Red Alert is the most addictive RTS game I have played in my life, better than Tiberian Sun or Starcraft. The graphics are cheesy, but the gameplay is very addictive as an online game. If you didn't get it, buy it! If you already have it, buy Red Alert 2! If you have that, WHAT ARE YOU READING THIS FOR??!! GO AND PLAY THEM!!!
