Summary:
this is really the best game i have ever played, even now that i have it almost 3 years, this game is so good that i can't get tired of it, i just get a little tired of always the same tracks but there is a very usefull track editor for it, so i will never get tired of this game !
Before this game had shown up, i have played Carmageddon 1 for several hours, it was the beginning of my liking of this kind of games. Later when this game came i loved it even more ! Even today i can't find a game so fun like this one, only Grand Theft Auto 3 is the most close to it but even like that i prefer Carma2 because of the destruction and total freedom which never more any game had it, and the physics engine is also UNIQUE, so i hated CARMAGEDDON TDR2000 because was not made by the same company and doesn't have the same physics engine and other things. The only problem is that Carmageddon 2 wasn't totally finished when it was released so it have several bugs, but with the editor we can fix almost all of them. I really like this game very much, even if it have several bugs and isn't finished. My wish is to have friends which also like this game very much even today, like the people that gaved to it such good reviews as the ones below this one, but unfortunally i can't find friends like that, everyone only thinks about rally or racing games like Colin Mcrae or Gran tourism3 and those kind of racing car games are soooooo boring i can't get any fun from them (i hate racing laps), even tough their graphics are very good, but that is not enough to make a good game, realism doesn't mean fun.
And penalizing the game so much just because it doesn't have a good multiplayer part it's stupid, specially because it's a optional part. Of course that is important also, but at least carma2 have the network option, but there are no pedestrians or drones or opponents on that mode, which is a pity. But i think that a game exclusive online is much worse than a single player game without multiplayer part, at least we don't have to pay each time we want to play that game.

Summary:
Carmageddon 2 is the most awesome racing/action/simulation/driving game you can buy. In the game you can go three levels where you win buy 1. Killing all opponents 2. Killing all pedestrians 3. Winning the race (BORING) Then you have a mission level where you have to complete objectives such as destrying a giant dump truck that followed you home.

Summary:
What kind of sicko road rage crap is going on here?!? Really, kudos to Derek S for posting a recent review, I figured I'd throw in my 2 cents. In a word: Cathartic. Yes, I think the children will understand that running over pedestrians in real life is a bad thing but in cyberspace...well it's a heck of a lot of fun!!

Summary:
I original paid $45 for this at best buy on day 1, over 2 years ago, but i gave it to my friend but i never got it back, and i dont blame him, its an awesome game :) i eventually bought it again at media play for 10 dollars. Superb Game!
