Price Paid:  $2000.00 from web site

Summary:
AT times I feel like I have just ran a real race.
This is one of the coolest games I have. Not for
the faint of heart, this game will make your pulse pound.

Review NaN of 5
, from Devon, England

Price Paid:  $300.00 from UK

Summary:
I find it gripping and at times quite realistic as I get a sense of the power band serge which I get on my RG400gamma. I feel that if the horizon tilt, when you are on the machine, should be 50% and 50% bike tilt too, and I think that this would give far more enjoyment and pleasure when riding the bikes. I use GP500 when it is too wet to enjoy a thrash on my Suzuki RG400. One thing which realy annoys me is the breaks locking up and the front nd going out whilst in simulator mode. Thanks.

Summary:
A truly fantastic racing simulation that although very difficult at first, rewards perseverance with the satisfaction that comes from taming one of these monster bikes.

Unlike most racing games where you can simply slam in the CD and perform like a Schumacher or a Doohan from the start, in GP500 its as if its you on the bike, in other words the start lights turn from red to green, you accelerate, you approach the first corner at speed and...

...you're unceremoniously and spectacularly thrown from your bike.

Summary:
I have almost all of the motorcycle racing games out there. MotoRacer I & II, Manx TT, Redline Racer, Honda Castro Superbike, and World Superbike Championship (SBK). GP500 beats em all in terms of gameplay and graphics - except SBK. I enjoy racing Sim (especially motorcycle racing sims), because I'm a motorcycle rider and I know how they should work.
My biggiest GRIPE I have with GP500 is the replay. On GP500 you can only replay the last lap you done. And when you try to save the replay it takes up an outrageous amount of disk space. SBK can save the entire race and it takes up hardly any space. I hope GP500 will have a fix for this in the future. I love to watch a race from start-finish. Just like watching a real race.
Besides some minor glitches and complaint, all in all, I love this game. Where else can you race Doohan, Biaggi, KRJR, etc. And I love the lil extra like racing with a moped or the BeemTeam race bikes.
You probably guess it, I'm a motorcycle racing fanatic and I do enjoy a good race sim on a rainy day when I can't go out and ride the real thing, my R6.
So go out and buy this game, you won't be disappointed.

Summary:
There's a new king of Motorcycle sims: GP500. You can throw away Superbike World Championship (SWC), this game is superior in everything!

GP500 is a simulation of th FIM 500cc superbike world championship. The FIM series is the Formula One of the superbikes. It allows you to race in individual races or the full season with all of the real riders and tracks. THIS GAME IS A GEM! Why?
