Description The prophecy of Alaundo is upon you!
War wreaks havoc among the Bhaal Spawn, and as a Child of Bhaal, you too become embroiled in the conflict. The mysteries concerning your dark heritage require final answers, and the secrets of your hidden powers are soon to be unleashed. Your journey down the Sword Coast has finally lead you just south of Amn, to the country of Tethyr. It is here, on this final battlefield, that the victors shall rise above the vanquished. You are the Bhaal Spawn, and your ultimate destiny will be yours for the taking!
Summary: This is a fine conclusion to one of the best video games I have ever played. The Throne of Bhaal takes all of the things that made the Baldur's Gate series great and improves upon them. There are meaner monsters, great magical items, more powerful weapons, and amazing new spells and abilities.
Summary: The completion to the saga and therefore a must have to any Baldur's Gate fan. While this is the "worst" of the three, it is still an excellent game and a good finish to the saga. Same as Shadows of Amn: Excellent music, Best voice acting ever in games, fantastic gameplay, the atmospheric IE engine graphics, evolving party interaction.
The completion of the best game series ever made and a must buy to every BG fan.
Summary: If you're hooked on BG2, have a party that is maxed out, have completed every quest in the game, and are thirsty for more, this title is for you. If you have not beaten BG2 yet, DON'T BUY THIS EXP! This expansion is odd in that it allows you to make gods of your BG2 characters. This may seem great, but it kind of ruins the feel of an RPG. You know a D&D RPG has lost it when you can solo your character... Great add-on, but it doesn't even compare to BG2 vanilla.
Summary: "The single best computer interpretation of AD&D Second Edition". I like it a lot. Summary: AD&D rpg, lots of choices [classes, ways to do things, who joins your party, etc], nice combat system [you can pause the game to issue orders], nice magic system [some spells are longer than others, when you cast them your mage dude chants stuff and it sounds cool and then the affect happens. You can know dozens of spells but you are limitted to how many you can cast before resting by your intelligene], etc etc. Oh, and its a lot of fun with a healthy dose of challenge. Well, you could make it easier with the difficulty setting, if you're a wimp. ;)
Summary: Ok, for anyone who has played Baldur's gate 2 and is wanting to buy the expansion, go ahead. But be warned this expansion brings NOTHING to the game. That is correct, if you hate Baldur's gate 2 in any way, you will hate this one even more. I have absolutely no idea why people think the expansion was better then the first, because it isn't.
