Summary:
Tales of the Sword Coast is a great expansion pack for a fantastic RPG starter game. This expansion adds some very interesting side adventures. If you add the expansion in and start with an entirely new character there are some areas you do not want to go with your newbie. Great feature. The Island and Durlag's Tower and great side adventures that are enjoyable by themselves and when performed as you are working through the Baldur's Gate game they can add a little power to your characters that can help later.

The truth about this game is it builds on a great game and is an excellent addition. I have played through this game with the basic Baldur's and have found some important things each time that were missed on previous adventures.

ive been playing rpg's since the first final fantasy, which we all know regular nintendo's rpg's are the best, but you can only play the same games so many times,but when i got introduced to computer games ive played alot of them too, gotta love interplay cause ill tell you ive never played such awsome games, then baldurs gate and icewind dale besides my old nintendo games baldurs gate is the BEST.

Baulders Gate and BG2 are the best RPG's I have ever played! I recommend them to anyone. You can pick what your character is like, who you want to be in your traveling party, journies you want to go on, how you would like to play the game (good/evil) and more!

Summary:
Overall a fantastic piece of PC game wizardry that appeals to all manner of players. I ended up with a party of 5 people sitting in my room each with different characters. none of these people had any previous interest in RPG's. Superb. Well done Black Isle.
