Wow, what a difference two years make. This game was a disaster when it was released. I purchased it at that time and threw away the disks; I never thought I would play this game again.
Now, two years later, the game is awesome. My first experience in the MMORPG genre was the original Asheron's Call. I loved that game. It was complex with its spell components, taper paterns, etc. Nothing was easy, nothing was spoon-fed to the player. Anarchy Online reminds me of that game in many ways.
