Summary:
I found the game to be rich in quests at the begining. Quests seemed to be further apart as you advance in levels. The quests are easy to follow and it is easy to find places. I also found this game to be quite refreshing to get around. Portals or you can ride a horse like creature. This game has no stores so to aquire armor and weapons one must craft these by mining materials. The game is deep in the creating stuff and you will spend hrs crafting. Quite a nice change when your tired of hacking creatures. What ever character you create, they can cast spells. This game has a nice chat filter as well as one used just for trading. If you fail on a quest there is a reset clock. You can jump off a cliff with minimum damage, this sure helps taking shortcuts during travel. The game also has movies after certain quests, and once a quest is completed there is usually a reward or lots of experiance. But like AC1 it comes down to hacking your way into the next level. This truly becomes tiresome and then you may reach another quest,as they are far apart in higher levels. The alligance system is great and players are mostly freindly and helpful. If you join a clan or even a fellowship, plenty of fun times ahead and new freinds will be made. One sad aspect of the game to me is that items are level sensitive. A lower level player cannot weild a mighty sword, so your boxed in restricted to your level rating. This seems frustrating when looking at your inventory. If you should die fear not as you will not lose your items, however some stats drop and one must do some hacking to gain the exp back. No big issue in the lower levels. If you solo alot you can summon a beast to help in your hacking. This beast will follow you wherever. Some of AC1 buffing is here as well, such as buffing your sword or debuffing a critter. You can heal other's and cast protects on them as well.

Summary:
First I would like to say that I am an "experienced" gamer, who truly wanted to enjoy this game. I have thought long and hard about what to do with this game, and what I should say to someone who may read this review who may be considering buying this game. I plan to give credit where it is due, and point out what about this game left me disappointed. I hold a pretty high standard to "RPG"s, and I understand that everyone's idea of a perfect game is a little different.
Overall, I felt that the game was very "empty". I have heard that phrase pop up in several past reviews, and I have to say that it hits the nail right on the head; it's the perfect word to describe the general gameplay and character development.

Summary:
Being a devout fan of Diablo II, I was looking for a game which could provide a similar gameplay, with some enhanced graphics and surroundings. I purchased this game and DAOC. I liked the simplicity of character creation in this game compared to DAOC. Graphics and sound are similar. However, AC2 is empty. You feel very lonely at times, and on top of that the servers are very slow to respond. This is always a major issue in most RPG games, but the server lags on AC2 is devastating. I experienced insane lag spikes about every 10 minutes of gameplay. This is the major reason why i quit playing. Until there is a patch/fix for this I will not play.

Summary:
To Sum it up, This game is boaring. It never developes into anything that is not worth the amount of time you will end up playing. If you enjoyed AC1 then you will hate this game. Everything that was fun and addicting in AC1 has been removed from this game (go figure) and they replaced it with nothing but better graphics. There are to many other games out there to waste and money or time on this one.

Summary:
What a disapointing experience the game is rather boring compared to action based games. But if you do manage to become absorbed in the game this is what you find out. First you buy it then find out there is a subscription fee of $12 per month no big deal but good luck finding anything about that on there site if you buy the software and your like me why on earth whould you read all the small print I sure was not buying a used car. Well you need to on this since in small print it does say subscription though if you order online you'll never see that until it arrives. Top that off if you have a spouse who wants to play well you need to buy the software all over again and pay that subscription fee again so what is this game costing you now $60 for software and $25 a month to play it.
