Summary: I believe this game is actually very good. However, the game does not seem fully developed in some ways. That presents the many problems most players find in the game. The most annoying problem is that there is no manual. I was pretty confused at first of how to start a business in that game and I spent countless hours figuring out how to follow through in the proper steps to ensure that I don't get kicked out of the bank for not paying my loans. However, if this problem faces you (which I am sure it will), there is a manual on the CD. Go to My Computer, right click on the CD drive, go to open. There you will find a folder that holds the game manual. Open it and you willl find all the instructions neccesary to play the game. Also in the game there is a certain bug that won't let you place an object on a clear tile. You can solve that by moving some surrounding objects away. Also, I don't know if your computer would do this, but after a long period of gameplay the game might automatically stop and you will return to your desktop. Just restart the computer to solve this if it happens to you.
Summary: I had grown bored with many of the sims games. I have never tried a Tycoon game, but this one caught my eye. It looked like a lot of fun. I was interested in the idea of being able to contol my little simulation guys, and actually have a purpose and goal. Too bad this game was so poorly designed. It didn't even come close to meeting the expectations I had when I bought it.
Summary: Well, this was an interesting game. Through countless hours (I exaggerated the one it asked me for) of playing, I discovered many things that used to cause problems. And found a way around all of them. Plus, I built a mega company, and found the way to get access to more floors (remember how you would rent a building, and you'd get like one floor on the ground? I found out how to get past that too) A fun game, with few restraints.
Summary: I was going to purchase a game called Sim City 4 from EA, then I looked right beside that game and saw this, Big Biz Tycoon. What caught my eye was the price: only $20 Canadian compared to $55 for Sim City. So, I bought Big Biz Tycoon. I'm glad I did. I really enjoy it. I found it annoying at first, as I couldn't find a manual, but then I did find it. There is a 35 page manual on the CD itself. If you go to windows explorer, open up the D drive, right-click the Big Biz Tycoon CD icon, select open on the new menu, then choose the "detailed manual", and open that in word, you will find a very good manual that helped me a lot. I really enjoy playing this game.
Summary: Unfortunately Dissapointing although i Did not loose out on price as much as other reviewers if you find it for 10$ like me it may be remotely worth it.
This game creates high intrests in opening up all areas and possibilities for game play and realizm then dissapoints you by having all the options with no detail in them.
