Summary: Ok. This game was great. it was the single reason why i have no life right now. I spent day and night trying to be the best at Battlefield and darn near did it when i entered a dogfighting championship. Battlefield 1942 combines creative maps, a good choice of sveral unique unit types, and the almost unique ability to use any vehicle, plane or boat to attack the enemy position.
Summary: This game is simply the most fun i've had playing an FPS. I've spent so much time playing this game because it's just that good. The mod suppot is incredably which provides endless gameplay.

I find this game boring because I keep getting killed after only 30-60 seconds of play (I'm agressive), and the missions are short-way too short. I spend more time restarting the missions than I do playing them.
Summary: A very good game with, I usually don't like third person games. But with Battlefield, there is so much you can do in the game it's unreal. Each battle is different having to use more than just one of the 5 types of soldiers offered by the game. In the battle itself, you can play each one over and over and the computer will always do something different. Operating of soldiers, their weapons, vehicles, ships, and airplanes are simple and easy to pick up on.
Summary: Battlefield 1942 is a multiplayer game. The Single player option is an afterthought, but you can use it as a means to practice flying or learn some tricks. The heart of the gameplay contains a living, breathing battlefield that allows for endless options in an immersive World War II environment. Battlefield 1942 should appeal to history buffs, First Person Shooter fans, online gamers, and strategists. In other words, most gamers will find this to be one of the best online games ever made and possibly the best game ever made. It is that good, that immersive, that entertaining, that exciting, and a work of art. There is really no reason to pass up this title.
The sheer size of the game can be overwhelming at first with different unit classes and many vehicles on land, sea, and air. That's right, you can control planes, tanks, jeeps, boats, battleships, aircraft carriers, submarines, and other vehicles. This adds many options for you to participate in the success for your team. Identifying a need and accepting that role is at the heart of Battlefield 1942, and at the core of war.
