Price Paid:  $30.00 from Gamestop

Summary:
This expansion is interesting. However, it is currently weakest expansion of the six. It is not worth the 30$. If it was 20$, possibly, but not 30$. In it you can throw parties. It comes with some party objects, and an option to "throw party" on the phone. There is no new section of town, like the later better expansions. It is something that should of been incorporated into livin large or hot date. However, I'm not saying throwing parties aren't fun...

Summary:
House party is actually quite decent. Although the element of this expansion could have been added to the original Sims game. I guess Maxis needed another way to leech money out of the people they have trapped in an addictive web of simfulness.

, from Anchorage

Price Paid:  $30.00 from my birthday

Summary:
its a pretty good game but it is hard to get a good party going. They say you can have guest celebretys but i never have and i have played it alot and had milions of partys and all i have gotten is mimes and they are just plane old boring and some guests leave cuz they are there.but it is realy fun. some times i will finnally finish a house but the game will crash. so that sucks. a tip if you delete your mail box (if you know the cheat) you cant greet your visitors and they will automaticaly apear in your house.it is more fun if you now alot of cheats because you can do more stuff.

they have alot of new objects. like a mecanichal bull, dj thing and you can dj it and watch hit but that sounds boring. and a portal like thing to go up and down the stairs and a chest with costumes, more lamps and bushes. also a dance floor and dance cages.

Price Paid:  $30.00 from Wal-mart

Summary:
Overall I think the game is pretty cool. There's not much different as far as the complete game. No extra neighborhoods or anything.

Summary:
What a hunk of junk... wasted money. I've read all over the internet about what a great game this is, and I've read all over the internet about what a buggy, crashing piece of trash this is. I guess I'm in that second group. I absolutely could not get this game to work, even following all the tweaks that Maxis put on their website to help people who were running into the same problem. That should be a tip off right there -- this is a common problem, and Maxis released the game anyway. If you're lucky enough to be one of the few who can get this game to run, I'm sure you're having fun. Me? I got 20 min MAX of playing time before the game dumped me onto my desktop. Usually less time than that. VERY FRUSTRATING. Uninstalled it that night.
