Price Paid:  $28.00 from Best Buy

Summary:
While the majority of flight sim fans gear themselves toward FS2000 because of its expandability and add ons, FU3 is the most accurate of all flight sims I've ever played. From the graphically beautiful weather, landscape and panels to the realism of the ATC, FU3 expands the degree of believability and makes you feel as if you are truly flying in crowded skies. IMHO, the absolute best flight sim out there.

Price Paid:  $20.00 from PC World

Summary:
What a suberb simulation! I have nothing but praise for FU3, it is the best civilian flight sim I have ever played.
There is a good choice of aircraft, excellent scenery and weather effects and the sound is superb too.
I have spent most of my time flying the Beechjet, but the other aircraft seem good fun to fly. The other traffic in the skies and the air traffic control interaction perhaps make the game though.
Much better than it's Microsoft rival. It is just a shame that the deveopers of FU3, Looking Glass, have gone out of business. Will we ever see another sim like this?

Review NaN of 9
, from Washington

Price Paid:  $2000.00 from Office Max

Summary:
Comments:
[1]Excellent Graphics

[2]Couldn't find large water bodies in the N-NE section of Washington State. I.e., North Cascades National Park which has three lakes within its' boundaries.

[3] Small details are included. Try and follow a big heavy and see what happens. You get spun around from prop wash. Quite a surprise! Who would have thought about including something like that? Really fun.

[4] The P51 Mustang's engine sound isn't the true sound of a Pratt and Whitney engine and the dash isn't realistic either, but it's still fun to fly.

[5] The "Challenges" are the most fun and it's too bad they didn't have more. Kudos to whomever thought up the challenge feature in this program.

[6] Weather. Now that's really fun to fly in. Difficult, but a kick! Especially in the rain.

[7] On a scale of 1 to 10 I rate this program based on enjoyment, realism, realiability, and just plain fun: 9

Review NaN of 9
, from Alameda, CA

Price Paid:  $20.00

Summary:
Fantastic graphics and very good framerate on my middle of the road PC (AMDK6 500mhz, 128K ram). I added in the SF Bay Area scenery from FUII (I live in the area) and the realism is tremendous - you can almost forget you are flying a simulator. I can pick out the bunkers at local golf courses and find the street where I live in Alameda. The sunset shadowing on the Marin headland is wonderful - looking into the sun the ridges are dark in shadow, looking away they are bright in sunlight. The buildings and bridges are only average, though. Easy to learn interface. The only real negative is the small flying area, after you've explored SF and Seattle there is nothing left to do. Beats the pants of MS FS2000 for realism and framerate. A definite buy if you can still find a copy.
