Summary:
Not my kind of sim, Nice Graphics, but i need control over something, I don´t like to only change numbers and prices to win. I do not like that there is only one city.

Summary:
This was a great game that really entertained me for a while. I play lots of sim games and this one is one of the best. Although there does seem to be a few flaws, overall the game is still something lots of people would love to play. One complaint is that there isn't enough levels in the single player option, but I guess it's probably a good thing because I was getting a little bored by the end. Although I expected something like the original monopoly, I was blown away with this new innovative game.

, from UK

Summary:
Monopoly tycoon is certainly an innovative take on perhaps the best known board game on earth. The rendering of the original street blocks into a beautiful 3-D city that functions in real time does give you the feel that you're building your empire in a real world.

By building apartments and shops your aim is to rake in as much dough as you can from the inhabitants of this city whilst outcompeting your opponents who are out to exploit the same opportunities.

At first the game engine seems clever and economically logical. Citizens will head for the shops that offer the best prices but aren't necessarily willing to walk all the way across the city to buy their loaf of bread. However, after about 8 hours you'll find that the engine is just too open to exploitation and that there's really only one killer strategy.

Sadly this means that multiplayer, instead of being a cut-throat affair, is a race to build the right things in the right places. Enjoyable enough but the fact that it loses its sheen so fast makes this an enjoyable rather than excellent game.

Summary:
I don't think Monopoly Tycoon is a bad game, far from that, but I think it's a bit overrated in the reviews I've seen here. I've got the game for about a month now, but I can't say I've been playing it every day. It's fun to do if you've got nothing else to do, but it's really not the game that keeps you hooked for hours.

Summary:
This is an excellent game for people who are into the strategy/finance scenario. This game has many tricks to it and each time it plays out differently. The graphics are excellent!! I was very impressed with the smooth flowing graphics on my PC. I didn't have much of a PC when I was playing this game.
