Summary:
VERY SMOOTH GAMEPLAY!! I am a REAL flight sim fan, kind of an expert in the field. Have done this for past 15 years. CFS2 is a definite MUST BUY for any air combat freak out there. YES, there are some limitations (like the number of planes), but MS has addressed most of these issues with fixes or aftermarket stuff from other companies like Abacus. Realism is the best I've seen yet, but remember, I havent bought Flight Simulator 2004 yet...

Summary:
This game is very enjoyable, but in some respects disappointing. I bought CFS2 after having been an avid player of the original Combat Flight Simulator. I hoped it would improve on the original. In some ways it is better, but in other ways I am disappointed with it. CFS2 has fewer single missions, fewer campaigns and fewer flyable planes than CFS. It also takes up major hard drive space compared with CFS, but considering the size of the install, you would expect more from the game.

Summary:
Excellent game, flawed of course but that's always a given isn't it? Like the other CFS it's pretty flexible with addons and such. It's easy to spend more time piling on patches and add-ons than actually playing the game. This one gets an A!

Great graphics, great aerodynamics - just like you'd expect from microsofts other non-violent flight sim. Just one problem..... This game tries to be both a simulator AND a game and fails bigtime in the latter

Summary:
I`m not normally a fan of Microsoft games, they always remind me of the Disney corporation of the gaming world, very "safe" if you know what I mean. however, Combat flight Sim 2 has surprised me, the only other WWII flight sim I played extensively was Janes WWII fighters which I`ve had installed for about 3 years, but Combat flight sim 2 surpasses it in all departments, especially realism.
