Microsoft Zoo Tycoon Simulation Review

Microsoft Zoo Tycoon

Description
This place is a real zoo and you’re in charge! Go wild building the most fun and beautiful zoo you can imagine. Care for unpredictable and untamed animals—and those are just the guests. Plan wisely, if animals don’t like their food environment or handling they interact poorly with visitors and fewer guests mean fewer dollars. Play smart, keep everyone happy and you’ll be a Zoo Tycoon!

Review NaN of 16

Price Paid:  $20.00 from Walmart

Summary:
I bought this for my 11 yr old autistic son. To teach him money management, animal welfare and basic business sense.

I was right on track. He is learning disabled and is trying to read the animals descirptions and comments. Math values are adding and subtracting numbers.

Strengths:
For a child 6-14 this is a good non-violent game when used as a teaching tool.

It encourages math, reading and responsibility.

Weaknesses:
The messagescome and go so fast beginning readers have to learn the review messages function a lot.

Sometimes what needs to be done is sometimes not very clear when it comes to making the animals happy.

Don't worry Microsoft nobody's perfect.

Review NaN of 16

Price Paid:  $0.00

Summary:
This was possibly the most worthless game ever made. Its so stupid. Making the animals eat eachother was amusing for a while. Why in the crap would anyone want to build a fake zoo on theyre computer! You cant even let the elephant out and let it trample people. It stinks.

, from Florida

Price Paid:  $30.00 from Best Buy

Summary:
This is a fun game!If you like zoos, you will love this. The animal animations are great and so are the sounds....you really feel like you are in a zoo when you play this game.
There are a variety of landscapes and fencing to choose from,so the exhibits can be as realistic as you care to make them. You also have a wide variety of paths to choose from....from asphalt to cobblestone to yellow bricks.
The only gripe I have is that there aren't enough animals that come with the original game.........although you can find tons of user created animals on the web.

Price Paid:  $45.00 from GAME

Summary:
Well as you all know there was a lot of hype to this game when coming out (over in the UK anyway) where I brought it for about £30 which is around $45 (yes I know over in the UK we get ripped off especially in London!!) and did the game live up to it’s hype?

, from MN

Price Paid:  $29.00 from Target

Summary:
Dull, tedious, a nagging bore. Creative options were limited and the game itself was not fun to play. I always looked forward to quitting the game as opposed to getting lost in it. It was even more a relief to uninstall it from my PC.
