This effort appears targets to the Die hard flight enthusiasts - I'm sure the aeodynamic model is correct but as a form of entertainment it tedious.

God What a game! this thing is the best simulator I have had except B-17 the mighty eighth. Its so realistic except the only problem is there is not enough planes to fly!

Summary:
Flight gaming is new to me and I can't really compare with othergames at this stage, but my appreciation of this game was that it was pretty good. There are some annoying characteristics, i.e tracking the enemy in mission mode and some lack of realism in take off. I found some problems in mission mode where I would summon other luftwaffe planes to form on me to prepare for an attack and nothing happening. I was left alone with about 25 allied fighter planes, needless to say after half an hour of searching for the enemy being shot down in the first thirty seconds was annoying. In real life you would have radio contact and at least some intelligence on where the enemy would be. Maybe the second version of this will address some of these issues. Otherwise I like the game. I have also bought Fighter Squadron which seems to have similar graphics display. I think the instuction manual for LC should be clearer as well.

Summary:
This game is not for Arcaders. This game is for the Die Hard Simulator flyers. I have always wanted a silulator that would provide realistic feel to it, and this one is it. If you want to fly like the aces this is the one for you. If you want to fly like Buck Rogers this is not the one.
