Summary:
After reading all the reviews for this game i decided to log on to simhq.com and virtualdogfighters.com web sites. I downloaded the new v o.95 patch plus new clouds, scenery, terrain, aircarft skins, cockpits, gunsites, sounds,and generally all the things that i needed to make this game work properly. The game is now virtually perfect(even on windows xp, the ingame video footage now works). This game is a must buy. The faults are easily corrected and the result is a game that can hold its head up to il2 sturmovik and the glitchy cfs3.

Summary:
I read a lot of bad reviews for B.O.B. but decided to buy a copy anyway. I am glad i did as i have not looked back. An amazing game with a few bugs which were easily fixed as i had purchased a recent copy that that had all the new patches installed. I have just put away my copies of combat flight simulator 1 & 2 as i am going to be some time with this one.

Summary:
I collect almost all the flight sims and I enjoyed BOB very little until I made some tweaking changes (video card) now the game is actually quite nice. I do not enjoy being the commander of the RAF as I would prefer to be scrambled with one or two squadrons I designated.

Summary:

This is a troublesome but very immersive WW2 sim. Once you get it all stabilized the game works like a charm. Then it's best to go to simhq.com and head to the BoB discussion group. They make this very complex and intense sim even prettier. Once figured out, this unpolished gem will turn you off of the Microsoft games for a while...
