Summary:
I concur with the other reviewer. The game gets tedious. Now it is a hunting game, and this is a very niche genre of gaming. Cabela's merely puts their branding on the game, and some off-beat company makes the games. This was my first Cabela's game and almost the last - Cabela's is NOT the best hunting game series, no matter what anyone says! But read my review, I'll be fair and there's even a light at the end of this rather dark tunnel. But take it from me, you'd be better getting Hunting Unlimited 3 or the upcomg part 4 (coming fall of 2005).

Summary:
I thought Cabelas would finally make a great hunting game, I mean they sell outdoor & hunting equipment, But sadly no, The game is tedious, Boring after awhile & you aren't free to go too any map you want (even in quick hunt mode), You have to unlock the maps in Career mode, Some maps they force you to use Bows only, I personally hate Bowhunting & on the harding levels you can't get close enough for effective Bow range with the animal running away, The developers so far have not giving any support to this game in the way of patches & fixes, Save your money for a better Hunting game like Hunting Unlimited 3, Trophy Hunter 2003 or Deer Hunter 2004 (Deer Hunter 2005 is due out soon anyway) & because of Federal Copyright laws Wal-mart says i can't even return this game, Oh well it'll make a nice coaster, I'll never buy another Cabelas game again.
