Summary: Backyard baseball is a sports game ment for children. Overall, it's a pretty bad sports game. There are other ones 10 times better! It's ok for someone 4-9, but not much further. Believe me, there are much better sports games out there.
Summary: There are other excellent reviews of this game here, so I will simply say that I bought this game for my six yr. old grandaughter, and ended up going through two whole seasons with two different teams, finishing only after winning the Championship of the Universe. Never was the game too easy or boring. I fell in love with the "players," the kids. It really is a very fun game.

Summary: This is a great game that everyone of all ages will love. You can play as the best major league players as kids, or the original backyard baseball kids. Very easy controls, the game is somewhat realistic, with things such as division standings and a world series with a cool stadium.
Summary: I found this game to be very enjoyable, especially for younger children, which the game is geared towards. For those of you who dont know, the game is based on kindergarten aged children playing baseball. The game is slow paced, so that the children have time to react. It isnt very realistic, but quite fun.
Summary: Backyard Baseball 2001 is an arcade baseball game from Humongous Entertainment. Obstinately designed for kids, Backyard Baseball 2001 should appeal to any baseball fan from 3 to 103. Although arcade in nature, Backyard Baseball 2001 conforms closely enough to the official rules of baseball to teach the game to a youngster, including the subtle nuances of the pitcher/batter dual, base-running, player positions, and team management. Multitudes of skill settings allow anyone from a tike to a seasoned veteran to enjoy the challenge of guiding their team to the Backyard World Series.
